SOPHNET. have been busy teaming up with footwear brands in producing exclusive sneakers and the latest project to surface is with premium Japanese brand visvim. The trio of Canvas Lo JP is constructed by Italian canvas fabrics in black, white and navy tones. Color coded shoe laces and metalic silver eyelets accent the uppers and white inner lining aid the classic style. Vulcanized outsoles are made by Vibram and off white colored rubber midsole compliments the uppers. Over sized disc like details can be found on the toe and heel sections of the midsole individualizing the exterior. Currently these models are available at SOPHNET. retailers and authorized dealers.

Eminem & Royce Da 5’9″: Fast Lane

One of the more interesting pieces of news announced these past few weeks was the expected June 14th arrival of Eminem and Royce da 5’9″‘s Bad Meets Evil EP; an album name inspired by a song off of Em and Royce’s heyday in hip-hop, it was about time the two released something together. With their early disputes being resolved we finally get it. While they may stray far away from that nostalgic and beloved Em sound, the two still manage to match-up well with one another on their first single “Fast Lane”. The most basic of all Vans models, the style comes in two separate versions each featuring a contrasting monogram pattern. The sneakers are available now on pre-order through Beauty & Youth with a release slated for sometime during the month of June.

Slated for a June 2011 release, Vans teams up with Heroin Skateboard’s Mark Foster on a Vans Classic. The two come as one to implement leather lining, a choice of laces, blue and grey suede, and Foster’s branding on the heel and insole, thus creating the Silas x Vans Era. Spitta refuses to stop working. Dropping his collaborative EP with Dilated Peoples’s Alchemist on 4/20, he releases his first Warner Bros. Single #JetsGo (pronounced “pound sign jetsgo”). Not sure which project this will end up on since Muscle Car Chronicles, Pilot Talk III, and three other unnamed announced tapes will be released for 2011 (let us not forget his on-going tour that started last week as well). Purchase the track below for only a dollar since the JETS leader definitely deserves it from the quality work he’s been putting out.
