These two brands have not ceased to cater to the needs of their supporters and consumers, which is great because many other brands have started to slack on the way they develope their threads whether it’s the quality of the goods or the designs. Last week, we learned of talented artist Vashtie Kola’s collaborative efforts with Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 2. This joint venture marks the first time a woman has ever collaborated with Jordan Brand. While we await its October 2nd, 2010 release, we have spotted new, detailed photos of this design. Inspired by her clothing label Violette, this sneaker possesses a mainly Lavender-colored base with minimal Deep Purple hints throughout the upper. Also, silver, glittery laces add a nice touch to this unique shoe. This limited release will come with special Violette tissue paper that coincides perfectly with this sneaker’s complexion.
Stussy and Stones Throw Records have teamed up to create an amazing casual-wear line-up, they decided to call this line-up the Capsule Collection. This collection consists of a White button-up Oxford, a Grey and Black silk tie, a Blue and Black silk tie, along with two matching colored silk scarves. Both the ties feature a Stussy and Stones Throw Records logo monogram print around one side of them, while the two scarves sport a large Stussy logo with a Stones Throw Records logo written over it. Unfortunately, these goods are only available at Stussy in Japan, but they should be arriving in the United States soon.
